About Us

We believe life is a game worth playing well

We're a small team passionate about making mental health tools that actually feel good to use. No clinical coldness, no overwhelming complexity, just thoughtful apps that meet you where you are and help you take the next step forward.

    Our Story

Life is a Game was born from a simple frustration: most mental health apps feel like homework. They're clinical, rigid, and designed as if self-improvement should be a chore. We thought, what if it could feel more like a game?

We started with Conquer Fear, an app that helps people face their fears through tiny, achievable challenges. The response showed us that people are hungry for mental health tools that respect their pace and make progress feel rewarding.

Now we're building an entire suite of apps, each tackling a different mental health challenge with the same core philosophy: break it down, make it a game, and celebrate every step forward.

    What We Stand For

    Mental Health First

Everything we build starts with one question: will this genuinely help someone feel better? If the answer isn't a clear yes, we don't ship it.

    Make It a Game

Growth doesn't have to feel heavy. We use game mechanics (levels, streaks, rewards) to make self-improvement feel light and even fun.

    Built for Real Humans

We design for people with real anxieties, real struggles, and real lives. No toxic positivity, no impossible standards, just gentle, achievable progress.

    Baby Steps Philosophy

Big change happens through small, consistent actions. Every app we build breaks overwhelming goals into tiny, manageable steps.

Important: Our team are not trained therapists or medical professionals. Our apps are wellness and self-improvement tools, not substitutes for professional mental health care. Please see our Terms & Conditions for our full health disclaimer.
