Connect Conquer Fear to your AI assistant

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client can work with your fear ladder directly. It sees today's step, builds a ladder with you, and logs what actually happened. Everything it does shows up in the app. Everything you do in the app shows up in the next conversation.

    Conquer Fear

    Server URL

    https://api.lifeisagame.ai/mcp/conquer-fear

Remote server, Streamable HTTP transport. Nothing to install and no API key to paste. You sign in with your Conquer Fear email and password on our own page.

    You need the app

Conquer Fear is an iOS app that breaks a fear into small steps and gets you climbing them. This server connects an assistant to your account in that app, so you need the app and an account before any of the below will work. Everything the assistant does shows up there, and the app is where you buy Premium, upload a proof, and see the fight scene when you beat a step.

    Connect it

    Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http conquer-fear https://api.lifeisagame.ai/mcp/conquer-fear

Type /mcp in a session, pick Conquer Fear and follow the sign-in link. Three prompts come with it: build a ladder, plan today's step, debrief an attempt.

Claude.ai and the Claude desktop app

Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it Conquer Fear and paste the server URL. Claude opens the sign-in page. Approve it and the tools work in any chat where the connector is switched on.

    ChatGPT

Settings, then Connectors, then Create, in developer mode. Paste the server URL and choose OAuth. ChatGPT finds the sign-in page on its own.

    Cursor, Windsurf and everything else

Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth will work. Add the URL. There is nothing else to configure.

    What it can do

Ten tools, and they are the same ones the app uses.

    Reads

    • Your ladders, today's step on each, your level, and this week's attempts.
    • One ladder in full: every step, fear ratings, what is done and what is next.
    • Your progress: attempts by outcome, and average anxiety before versus after.
    • Recent attempts with their ratings and reflections.

    Writes

    • Draft a ladder, revise it in plain words, and make it live.
    • Break a step down into something smaller.
    • Log an attempt: faced it, partly, or avoided, with anxiety before and after.
    • Mark a step done, when you say so.

The server also carries the app's rules for the assistant: one clear next action, small steps only, no reassurance loops, nothing is real until it is logged, and never build a ladder for a sensible fear or a medical symptom.

    What you are agreeing to

Anything the assistant reads through this connection is sent to that assistant's provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, under their terms, not ours. Your ladders are personal. Read that sentence twice before you approve.

You can untick the write box on the sign-in page for a read-only connection.

You can disconnect at any time from Settings in the app, which immediately revokes every token that assistant holds.

Free accounts hold one ladder and twenty logged attempts, and do not include the app's step generator. The assistant is told about a limit in plain words, and can always write steps with you instead.

A word on what this is not

Conquer Fear is a practice tool, not medical care. The server tells the assistant to stop ladder work and point you to local emergency services if you describe a crisis, but it cannot see a crisis coming. If you need help now, contact your local emergency number.
