Connect Signal not Noise to your AI assistant
Signal not Noise is a to-do list with a daily limit, three items by default. Connect it and your assistant can see what you have picked for today, see what is queued behind it, and add new tasks straight into the app.
Server URL
https://signal.lifeisagame.ai/mcpRemote server, Streamable HTTP transport. Nothing to install and no API key to paste. You sign in with your Signal not Noise account on our own page.
You need the app
Signal not Noise is an iOS app. This server connects an assistant to your account in it, so you need the app first. Anything the assistant adds shows up there, and the app is where you actually work through the day.
Connect it
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http signal-not-noise https://signal.lifeisagame.ai/mcpType /mcp in a session, pick Signal not Noise and follow the sign-in link.
Claude.ai and the Claude desktop app
Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Name it Signal not Noise and paste the server URL. Claude opens the sign-in page. Approve it and the tools work in any chat where the connector is switched on.
ChatGPT
Settings, then Connectors, then Create, in developer mode. Paste the server URL and choose OAuth. ChatGPT finds the sign-in page on its own.
Cursor, Windsurf and everything else
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth will work. Add the URL. There is nothing else to configure.
What it can do
Three tools.
- See today's list: the items you have picked for today, with what is done, progress, and any completion criteria. Opening this can trigger the app's daily rollover, exactly as opening the app would.
- See the reserve: what is queued in priority order, ready to top the day back up when it rolls over.
- Add a task: straight into today if there is a free slot, otherwise onto the reserve. Optionally with notes, sub-steps, or a repeat interval.
The assistant cannot tick things off, edit them or delete them. It can read your list and add to it, and that is all.
What you are agreeing to
Anything the assistant reads through this connection is sent to that assistant's provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, under their terms, not ours.
Unlike our other servers this one has a single permission level, so there is no read-only option: connecting it lets the assistant add tasks as well as read them.
You can disconnect at any time from the app.
